Morning Everyone, At the "Tennessee and the Civil War" Project, we have a new project started. The "Report of the Adjutant General's Office - TN" military rosters are going online. The rosters currently online are the 1st Mounted Infantry, 4th Mounted Infantry, and the 8th Mounted Infantry. According to "TN in the Civil War," Company B of the 1st Mounted Infantry is from White County. This new section is linked from the main page under the What's New Section on http://www.tngenweb.org/civilwar/ I've included a small search engine to search the rosters for a veteran's name. You can search on both his first name and last name or just his last name.
