I am new to the list. I am looking for any descendents or information about Peter VESS. In my early years of research, I wrote down this and it was either the 1820 or 1860 census. White Co. Peter VESS 2 1 1 2. Thanks for any help someone may give me. My great great grandfather was Simon Peter VESS. He mar. Susan Wilhoite (1) and his second wife was Frances Joyner. They mar. in White Co. in 1853. I couldn't find Frances Joyner's family there when I was at the library last Sept. I have an idea that the VESS family came to White Co., and Settled there.
