A FAMILY REUNION OF THE DESCENDANTS OF SOLOMON BAKER 1790 - 1858 Where: Sparta, White County, Tennessee When: 2nd Saturday and Sunday, August,12 and 13, 2000 We are planning the first of what is hoped will be many recurring annual reunions of the descendants of Solomon and Easter Lyda Baker. There has long been an annual cemetery decoration day where our ancestors' memories were honored, but now it is time to expand the get-together so kinfolk from across these United States of America can come home to White County, TN and experience the roots of their family tree. You are invited to be a part of this reunion if you are interested in the Baker family genealogy or if you descend from Solomon Baker and Easter Lyda or any of the numerous collateral lines that married into their descending family, including, but certainly not limited to: AARONS, BAKER, BENNETT, BLANKENSHIP, BRADSHAW, BRAY, BRINLEY, COLE, CRAWFORD, DAVIS, DERM/DURAM/DURHAM, ELROD, GOODSON, GREEN, HOLLAND, KING, LAFOON, LANCE, LUNA, LYDA, MACKEY/MaKEE/McKEE, MARLOW, MITCHELL, MOORE, RAY, RITTENBERRY/WRITTENBERRY, SMITH, SHERRELL, TALLANT/TALLENT, TOLLISON, and WILHITE. The reunion will be held on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of August 2000 in Sparta, White County, Tennessee. We will be developing a registration packet with more information about hotels, sites to see, and family entertainment and events that you will want to consider in the plans for your visit.
