    1. [TNWHITE-L] John and Desa (?) Sanders of White Co, TN
    2. Gwen Boucher
    3. Hi, I am sending this message for someone who does not have internet access. She is looking for descendents of John Sanders (possibly Saunders) (1815-1880) who married Desa (?) McGowan in White Co, TN. She mentioned someone in Carter, TX who sent her a photo of the couple but I am wondering if it could be Carter Co, TN, as I am unaware of a Carter or Carter Co, TX. 3. Hi, I was trying to answer the following information for Martha Brock. This is attempt to give the information to the list memeber. Hillra Qualls To: jgk000@aol.com Subject: Re: [TNWHITE-L] 1822 Brock Cc: Hi, I do not know if you have found the information that you were asking below or not. I was going back over my email and saw I did not send this information to you. Van Buren County, TN was created in 1840 from Bledsoe, Warren and White Counties. Dr. Margaret Rhinehart in Spencer, Tn 38585 can probably give you letter to who ever works on the Brock Family from that area. There is also a great photographer in the small town of Spencer who's name is Gene Brock. And yes, Spencer is a wonderful place. I used to work there. I live in White County. The post office is wonderful and most people will get their mail at just Spencer as the Post Master knows is great and knows most everyone. I hope this helps you. The Van Buren County page lists the Van Buren County Genealogy Society and they do have email. 2. Dick D Fox
    3. Dear Lin, thank you for your resonse to my White County query. Mourning Fisher (b1793 Rutherford, NC) m. Jeremiah Franks. Jeremiah and Mourning lived for awhile in White-Warren Counties near Caney Fork. They migrated to Marion Co., AL in the mid-1820's. Mourning was the daughter of John Fisher (b1756 Halifax, VA) and g-dtr of Nicholas Fisher (1730 Germany). Mourning had a brother named William Fisher (1783 Rutherford, NC). I have recorded William's wife as Nancy Chisam. Is this the same William that you mention? My information on the Fishers comes second hand from a book by E.R. Whitley "The Fisher Family". I have seen excerpts from this book but have never found the actual book. This is about all that I know of the Fishers. Anything that you could add would be appreciated.
