Louisa Jane married William Almond, in Weakley County, Tennessee, on November 24, 1858. It was this sister that Jesse Easters Murphy visited on his mission. As he records in his diary, he was at her bedside when she died on January 19, 1868. He had been teaching her the principles of the gospel.
