Happy Father's Day to all the men out there............ Tell us about your daddy........... My Daddy was my Knight in Shinning Amour ..........I thought he hung the moon..........he was a very good, honest, caring, helping and loving man..........Paul Revere HOWARD b 20 Jan 1906 in Lafayette Co, Ms was a medic in WWII so he became the "country doc" in the neighborhood around here............he gave shoots, dressed wounds, sit with the sick or whatever was needed he would do.........of course he worked other than that but it seemed he was always helping someone in need as well as my Mama was............ I followed my Daddy all over the place ...........I would walk with my fingers in his back pocket and never once did he ever tell me to get away............how many men would do that this day in time? I just wish everyone could have had a loving home with two loving parents like I did........... Yes, my Daddy was from Mississippi and my Mama from Weakley Co, Tn. (same house I live in today)........How did they meet? Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tn. in 1947 when my granddaddy, William "Lee" JONES was a patient there in the room with none other than Grooms HERRON, daddy of our own list members, Ben and Dean.........isn't it a small world? My daddy died 10 July 1992 but I miss him as much to this day as I did that day..............you might say that I was a Daddy's girl.........but then I was a Mama's girl and a Mama JONES's girl also!!!!!!!!!!! pj
