Robinson's Family Bible Record..). Notes for JAMES R. ROBINSON: There is a James Robinson in Obion County Tennessee in 1840. There was also a John Robinson there. The age range matches our James and the approxiate age that his parents would be. In 1850 there was a Nancy Robinson in Weakley County Tennessee. Records show that John Robinson had passed away, and left no will. This is possibly the parents of James. The corner of Obion County Tennessee, became Weakley County Tennessee. So I am led to believe that these were indeed his parents. But, I need more proof.
