    2. In a message dated 6/20/2007 11:54:37 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, jfpitt@comcast.net writes: I believe Hoyt was the son of Clay and Mandy Oliver Taylor. According to the SSDI, Hoyt O. Taylor, born July 1, 1922 and died January 11, 1999. Amanda Taylor, born August 6, 1893, died August 1974. Clay Taylor, born June 10, 1896, died February 1971. Yes, he was listed on the 1930 census with family. Likely her name was Amanda, but rec I have thus far indicate Mandy and Manda (census records 1900-1910) This is search as we go! The 1900 census gives birthdate of Mandy as August 1895, gives age as 6. On 1910 she is 16 yrs old. So no way to confirm. 3. Her birth date looks like August 1893 to me on the 1900 census. Also, if it's the right Amanda Taylor, the SSDI has Aug. 6, 1893. I haven't found her in the Weakley Co. Cemeteries book yet. Clay Evans Taylor is buried in Sunset Cemetery.
