Reagan. The censuses show his birthplace to be VA, but have not been able to find anything on him there--yet. He married Lucinda Jane Arnold in Bedford Co., TN, and their first child William (my direct ancestor) was born there. They then moved to Weakley Co. abt. 1849 and the rest of the children were born in Weakley. Joseph was a blacksmith. He served in the Civil War on the Union Side, had some injuries, died in Weakley in 1872. I think I sent you some info on him for your Civil War project. He was affiliated with the Masons, IOOF, or something, and I think they had taken care of the arrangements for his burial--maybe that is the reason he is the one of his immediate family that I have death info on, with the exception of some of the descendants of Joseph's twin sons Francis Marion Reagan and George Washington Reagan. Will have to check my notes, but I think it is one of F.M.'s family that married into the Finney's. I do have some additional questions and info on the Rust family, but I'll have to put that in a separate email tomorrow---eyelids are not cooperating. :-) Thanks for all your help, Jewel ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
