I know it's Saturday but we need life in this list........at least I almost feel like living today! I spent from 8AM until 6:30 PM in the dentist chair Wednesday the 13th.........let's just say I have been in the bed!!!!!!!!!! I remember hearing the dentist say to Ralph that not many people would have the guts to do what I done that day.........no I was not put to sleep...........I was worked on all but overall about an hour of that time.........I only got up twice to go to the bathroom, other than that, I was there............ Garry Brown called to see about me, his remarks to me were "You sound awful"...........hehehehe, I was.........for once in my life I have not talked much, it hurt far to bad to even fuss with him........... Ok, enough about me..........let's do some genealogy around here in Weakley, what you say? Who are you looking for? Who is that one ancestor if you had a chance to sit down with them for an hour, would it be? I am afraid, even though the McCLAIN family is my passion, it would have to be my great great grandmother Dorcas HOWARD...........SO many unanswered questions........but next in line would be Charles McCLAIN for sure.........he was an original to Weakley Co, signing the petition along with son John.........I have hope for finding this family but none for finding the family of Dorcas..........was she married or was she herself a HOWARD ??????????? Let's hear from all of you out there............pj PS........be sure to give dates, times and places..........don't do like I did..........hehehehe.......

Looking for the parents of MILDRED JONES. She married PERRY HOLT Sept 13, 1842 in Gibson Co., Tn. They were on the census of Weakley Co., Tn from 1860 to 1900. She is but one of my brick walls. Lucille Susyq@fidnet.com
