Jewel, thanks for passing along the link to the MO death certificates. I was able to find the certificates for my husband's brother and grandmother who were killed in 1954. They were struck by a drunk driver as they were crossing the street to go to church. She was pushing the baby in the buggy and my husband's mom was walking behind them. His mom didn't get hit, but the baby and his grandmother were dragged by the car for over 100 feet! What a tragedy. The years between 1934 and 1945 are suppose to be posted, later this year. 1957 will be available, early next year. No date has been posted on the site for these years to be available. Some late 1944 death certificates that were not filed until 1945 are, also, available.
