I have William A. King with wife Josephine Unknown. She is on the 1860 Weakley Census dau. of Joseph and Jane Ragan. Gertrude King married Allen J. Strawbridge. His son and grandson of the same name were/are prominent attorneys in Weakley Co. On the "King" info Lee Cate had on the list, I saw a W.A. King married U.J. Ragan 27 Dec 1877. On the 1880 Weakley Dist. 7 census, HH 487, there is a William A. King 26, Josephine 26, Gertrude 1, and Burnerd 1 month. I would think these are the same people as in the marriage, but I couldn't find a Josephine Ragan/etc. on the 60 or 70 census. If anyone has any info on this couple, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
