Jenwyl & David, I'm hoping you might have information on Margaret Drake Parham. My ggggrandmother was Sarah Drake who was b. in VA, married Leroy Sammons in AL in the 1840's, was in Maury, Tn in 1850 and in Weakley Co. by 1860. The last I have on her is from the 1880 Weakley census. She is listed as a widow and is living with 2 of her married/widowed daughters and grandchildren and a single daughter, Sarah F. Sammons. The Sammons name is sometimes listed as Simmons. I've tried to connect her to Drake families around Weakley, but not able to.
