Lula Parham is the daughter of William Wesley Parham and his first wife Margaret Drake. I'm not sure about John P. Oliver's parents, but there is a Henry P. Oliver on the 1880 census in Dresden that is a possibility. W.W.'s second wife is my ancestor. Thanks Jenwyl, Do you have a birth, death and marriage date for Margaret Drake. I notice that William Wesley Parham was one of the Confederate Veterans we honored on June 3 of this year. The location of his grave by GPS Burial Coordinates are: N 36* 16.068 W 088*46.555 With a GPS locator these Coordinates will take you to within 10 ft. of the location. This is a project the Col. Jeffery Forrest Camp 323 Sons of Confederate Veterans will be compiling as we are able to do. This is building a database of burials and noting the GPS location. Hello, Great job in finding the obit for Lula. I posted it this morning. I did not understand the listing of her children. And once again if I read it right a Parham married a Buntin. I wonder why it did not show her last name to be Buntin? I guess her kids she had with John P. were deceased by this time (Hazel, Maggie). And yet another mystery. Now maybe someone can get us a marriage date and a name of that Buntin she married. He is probably related to us also.
