Dresden Enterprise November 18, 1966 Obituaries Gilbert HATLER Dresden: Gilbert HATLER, who was a member of the county court for 46 years, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Archie Tuberville on Route 4. Services were Saturday afternoon at the Hatler's Chapel Church of Christ by Garvin BRUNDIGE and Earl MANNING. Burial was in the church cemetery, Doug Murphy Funeral Home in charge. Mr. HATLER, age 80, retired from county court duties earlier this year due to ill health. During that time he had served as a member of the nursing home committee for 24 years and was a member of the tax committee for 16 years. He was a member of the Hatler Chapel Church of Christ. He leaves one son, Robert HATLER, Dresden; three daughters, Mrs. Archie TUBERVILLE, Mrs. General SOMERS, Florence, Alabama, and Mrs. Jim DAMRON, of Martin; one brother, John HATLER, Martin; one sister, Mrs. F. O. HOWELL, Memphis; 6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchldren. Joe TUBERVILLE, Eulane WALKER, Billy HATLER, Buddy SOMERS, Arvel MILES and Bobby DAMRON served as pallbearers.
