The Dresden Enterprise July 6 1917 Page 1 Noble Christian Passes Away In the death on last Monday night at his home in Martin of Uncle Billie McLEAN, the community loses one of its most noble christian characters. Uncle Billie, as all called him, had been on declining health many months, and the news of his death was no surprise, none the less a shock to his legion of friends. Mr. McLEAN had been a citizen of Martin for many years and was of a quiet, unassuming nature, but warm-hearted and true to the very core. Several years ago his life-long companion passed away, and since then Uncle Billie has not seemed himself. He is survived by two sons, Attorney Chas. McLEAN and Mr. Will McLEAN. The body was interred Tuesay afternoon.
