The Dresden Enterprise November 22, 1940 Thos. LAMB Dies At Advanced Age Thos. LAMB, 84, passed away at his home, in the Little Zion community. He had been feeble for many months. Mr. LAMB was born April 3, 1856. In early life he was united in holy matrimony to Elizabeth ROBERTS, who preceded him in death 15 years ago. To this happy union was born five sons and one daughter - Alfred, Henry, Barner, and Bryant LAMB and Lillie LAMB. The latter died at the age of two, while Henry passed away fifteen years ago. Tom had been a loyal, devout member of Little Zion Primitive Baptist Church since early in life. Rites for this good man were held Tuesday at Little Zion by Rev. Cayce Pentecost, with interment in the nearby cemetery, Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, The sons and relatives acted as casket bearers.

Does anyone know where this line of LAMBs came from, what area of the country?
