To Shirley Miller. My maternal great grandfather was Moses H. McClelland Davis b June 1838 in Lancaster Co SC d Jan. 1926 in Union Co NC. I have not been able to find his father but there is a Mrs. M. Davis on the 1850 Lancaster Co SC census with a son Mack Davis age 12. Then the 1860 Lancaster Co SC census Mack Davis has his own household as he had married Harriet Belk. Sorry I can't be of help with your TN Davis. Dorothy White
