Leslie, I'm so glad you ask. I have a Dempsey W Swindell b. 1819 that married Nancy Moore in 1838 in Carroll Co TN. She was born 1820. They had 8 children. Then I have Henry Williamson 1813-1890 that married Louisa Moore in 1841. She was born 1817-1844. She is buried in Gibson Co. Their two children were Luke and Samuel. Henry Williamson taught school in the Moore School House several years. Do you have anything on these two Moores. The Williamson and Swindell families traveled from NC together and continued to inter-marry. In fact my grandmother was a Swindell and my grandfather was a Williamson. I hope you can help me with these two Moores. It is possible that they are sisters. Shirley (Caudle) Miller At 10:03 AM 8/26/2007, you wrote: >Thank for the information on Judge Moore. I don't find a Nancy Moore married to a Swindell. I do have a Nancy Emeline Moore (1838-1925) married to Elisha Austin Martin. I don't have a Louisa married to Williamson but I have Louisa Jane Moore (1842-1930) married to Calvin Pentecost. My Louisa's father, Silas was the one who started Moore School up above Palmersville and is buried near the remains of the school. But I can't find any Williamsons in the family. ----- Original Message ----- From: Shirley Miller To: tnweakle@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, August 26, 2007 6:27 PM Subject: Re: [TNWEAKLE] Thomas Moore Leslie, I'm so glad you ask.
