One of the list members wrote how she loved this site and it being like a trip home. I couldn't agree more!! I recall fondly many of my (and my mother, gmother, ggmother's) southern sayings. Words like larrupin', fits, fixin' to--as in fixing to do something, over yonder--as in over there, etc. Sometimes I've wondered if a lot of the things we say are even words, because a lot of places folks don't have ANY idea what I'm talking about! That is one of the things that is so special about "going home"--besides visiting family and friends, people know what I'm talking about! Thank all you members of this special family, and thanks for all your genealogical help.
