Louisa Jane married William Almond, in Weakley County, Tennessee, on November 24, 1858. It was this sister that Jesse Easters Murphy visited on his mission. As he records in his diary, he was at her bedside when she died on January 19, 1868. He had been teaching her the principles of the gospel. They don't list anything on the children of Louisa Jane and William Almond (as they spell it) There are 60 pages in Jesse Easters Murphy's missionary diary for 1867 - 69........ I'll give you any that he mentions his sister. Page 16....Stopped at St Johns and visited some friends. Left there the 2nd of December for _______. there we seperated. He (Bro. At that we left there and went to Green Lees and to his son-in-law's.
