I am currently working on a manuscript for my side of the family , my FORREST family is supposedly related to Nathan Bedford Forrest, but I have not found any links. We are having a Forrest family reunion this coming Saturday !! I am flying ( for the first time ever!) Thursday from Michigan to Louisiana. I get to see my father who has stayed in Louisiana since mom passed away last July while on vacation there. My 8 yr old boy gets to see his grandpa, who we had live all of his life. Not only did my son lose his grandma, his own father ( my husband passed in Oct) but basically his grandpa too cause grandpa never came back home here to Michigan. I am looking forward to meeting all of my relatives ( I have first cousins I have never met!!) Back on the homefront , earlier this week I put up a fence around what is going to be my garden, to keep our beagle puppy out of it! Well little did I realize a 2 ft fence was NOT going to cut it ( he jumped over it!) Today I put up a 4ft fence and got the tomatoes in the ground , next thing I knew there the dang dog is in the garden again!( Seems as though he slithered through a end gap) Well, I turned the water on him!!
