Author: teslababy1884 Surnames: Sammons Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.tennessee.counties.weakley/170.17.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have the the 1860 & 70 census for Sammons in Weakley listing Levy (Leroy?) with wife Sarah and children James, Larisa, Martha, William, Delitha, John F., Moriah, Thomas, and Sarah F. It also says on these census records that the parents Levy and Sarah were born in Virginia. John and Suzie moved to Texas sometime between 1888-93. John and his wife Suzie had seven children - George, Sarah, Daisy, Olivia, Willie, Mary, and Birtie. And on the 1900 census for Hunt County, TX lists John and his wife Suzie having been born in Tennessee with John's parents born in Virginia. The ages for John match and the wedding date would match that time frame as well. The names Sarah and Willie are also passed down again. A lot of the puzzle pieces fit.
