Bud - I'll be celebrating from my backyard also; that just happens to be Corpus Christi Beach. These Texans don't care how many bans they put on fireworks... they are gonna light 'em up anyhow! Always a great show, and with a view to the Bayfront display also. I finally got through the 288 E-mails that were waiting for me on my return from a week-long vacation to IL for Family Reunion of the Schorfheide cousins. Only one aunt is left from my dad's generation, and she was determined that us "kids" should re-start the tradition. Best was seeing my old "kissin cousin" David, after missing each other for at least 35 years. pj - I shudder to think what I would have missed if I had tried to un-join the list temporarily. What a great idea you had while I was driving from TX to IL by way of OK!! Next year I'm gonna plan my trip by way of TN, and stop by to see if you have anything on my families in your folders. I was thinking of stopping on my way back this time, but couldn't count on the weather.
