    3. Bob, I'd love to know who Anna's parents were too. According to the 1910 Portland, Multnomah County, OR census, she was born in October 1867 in North Carolina and was 49 and widowed at the time. She was living with her son Burtis, his wife and small child, and her three daughters. I found an obituary of sorts on the Tngenweb site for Madison County under Death Notices that states the following: "Mrs. ANNA TAYLOR, died at age 43, Portland, Oregon; no death date, but dated July 14 from Jackson. Surviving were a son, Burtis Taylor, 3 daughters, Misses Ruby, Lena and Lennie." I've seen much mentioned on the Weakley County site about the Killebrews, but nothing has ever been written about this Anna. She been a real mystery for me. I wrote earlier that she had twin sons Curtis and Burtis, but according to the 1900 Mayfield, Graves County, KY census, these sons were not twins. Curtis was 16 and Burtis was 13 in 1900. That census also states that all of her children were born in Tennessee with the youngest, Ruby, being born September 1894. I believe they were all born in Weakley County. They moved from Tennessee to Kentucky sometime after 1894 and before 1900. It seems that her husband Clinton died in Kentucky, and she moved west to Oregon with her son Burtis and her daughters. I have no idea what motivated them to move all the way to Oregon from Kentucky. I don't know what happened to her son Curtis. I have not been able to find anything on him after the 1900 census.
