I am looking for information on my PASCHALL family line in Weakley Co. The first census that Richard T. PASCHALL's family shows up in (in Weakley County) is the 1860 Census: 1860 Census of Weakley Co., TN, Dist. 10, Winston, June 15, 1860 Household #436 Paskall, Martha/45/farming/0/200/NC Paskall, Parthenia/22/NC Paskall, Robert/16/TN Paskall, Martha A/14/TN Paskall, Eliza/12/TN In the 1840 Census they are in Granville Co., NC 1840 Granville, NC Census has: Richard Paschall, head of household 1 male 20-30 (Richard) 3 females under 5 (Mary Elizabeth., Parthena and ?) 1 female 20-30 (Martha Higgs Paschall) 5 persons total household 1 person works in agriculture. I have not found them in the 1850 census. I believe that Richard died between 1848 and 1860. And that he was in Tennessee when he died as his son Robert (b. 1843) and the younger children were all born in Tennessee. I would like to know what happened to Richard and to identify one of his older daughters. In 1840 it states that there are 3 females under age 5, and in the 1900 census his wife says she had 6 children and 6 are still living. I have identified 5 children. This unidentified girl may be named Sarah or Sally as family stories talk about an Aunt Sally...but that could be from another line. Any help will greatly appreciated. Especially an 1850 census for this family. THANK YOU Sylvia Fleming ************************************** Get a sneak peak of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
