    3. Brenda, I believe that Pinkney Gatewood married C. J. "Patience" Hart on 26 Jan 1864 as you noted. It would appear that his wife was called-or nicknamed- "Patience". They had 7 children through 1880 (Census'). In the 1870 Census, they named one daughter Harriett and one was named Jane. There is a Jane in the 1850 Census as a child of Robert R. Hart who is about the right age and with a sister named Hariet. Coincidence--maybe!!
