    3. Frances V. Wilson Posted: Wednesday, November 24, 2010 12:20 pm Mrs. Frances V. Wilson, 85, of South Fulton, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at Martin Healthcare Center. Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton, Ky. with Dr. Ron Cox officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilson was born Aug. 15, 1925 in Fulton, daughter of the late Lee and Emma Petty Henry. She was the widow of William Neal Wilson. She had worked as a housekeeper at the Haws Memorial Nursing Home and was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters and one son-in-law, Betty and Jerry Emberton of Tompkinsville, Ky., Mary Ellen Tilford of Columbus, Ky., Eloise Wilson of Martin and Deborah Newsom of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sherry Wilson of South Fulton; one sister, Lora Dale Sills of Martin; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Caliph Bart Wilson; four brothers, Joe Henry, Hugh Ed Henry, Dan Henry and Don Henry; two sisters, Dorothy Henry and Betty Damron; and two grandchildren, Jamie Wilson and Ricky Wilson. Services were held at 11 a.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Hutchens officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon. Steve Brewer, Rick Reed, Ed Robinson, Tommy Russ, David Woodrough and Donnie Bynum served as pallbearers. Mrs. Roberts was born Sept. 11, 1911 in Lewisville, Texas, daughter of the late Leon and Maudie Cargill Taliaferro. She was the widow of James Brodie Roberts. She has an undergraduate degree from North Texas University and a graduate degree from West Texas A & M, is a retired elementary school teacher at Canyon Elementary School in Canyon, Texas and a member of Bethel Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Walter) Curry of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren, Melissa Ramon, Michael Curry and David Curry and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with T. Joe Walker officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery. Mrs. Giardina was born Sept. 7, 1917 in Pocahontas, Ark., daughter of the late Joe Sephus and Nota Mae Mock Price. She was the widow of Carmel Frank Giardina. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark., a retired high school teacher/educator and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Larry Giardina of Medford, Ore. and Jere Giardina of Dunwoody; and three grandchildren, Sarah Giardina, Forest Giardina and Daniel Giardina.
