Aydon River Hodge Posted: Friday, November 26, 2010 12:51 pm Aydon River Hodge, 3-month-old son of Waylon and Holly Winstead Hodge, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pisgah Cemetery near Dresden with Dr. Don McCulley officiating with Bowlin Funeral Home of Dresden in charge of the arrangements. Shannon Cashion and Keith Newton served as pallbearers. Hodge was born July 27, 2010 in Martin. Survivors also include his maternal grandparents, Don Roy and Cherry Winstead of Dresden; and his paternal grandparents, Loy and Vickie Mansfield of Palmersville. Brooks, 90, of Martin, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at Volunteer Community Hospital, Martin. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at East Side Cemetery in Martin with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Friday until two hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Brooks was the son of the late William Harris "Willie" and Myra Milner Brooks. He formerly owned Harry Brooks Real Estate and Insurance and was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pam James Brooks of Martin; two sons, Randy Brooks of Memphis and Ricky Brooks of Paris; and two grandchildren, Alex Brooks and Devon Brooks, both of Memphis.
