Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Bowlin officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon. He was a bricklayer and metal dealer. Burial was in Union Cemetery in Fulton County, Ky. Rev. Gordon was born May 23, 1941 in Fulton County, Ky., son of Lela Pearl Clements Gordon of Palmersville and the late William Alfred Gordon. He was a member and the current minister of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church in Water Valley, Ky. and served in the ministry for the past 35 years. He retired as a school bus driver after 17 years of service for the Obion County School System in 2010, was a former member of the Army National Guard in Union City serving in the Engineer Unit.
