    3. Mildred Faye Taylor Mrs. Mildred Faye Taylor, 75, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Jackson. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Greenfield with David Worley officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery, Paris. P. J. Johnson, Kenny Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Steve Johnson, Paul Okowinski, Matt Johnson, Randy Nelson and Frank Nelson Sr. served as pallbearers. Mrs. Taylor was born Oct. 8, 1935 in Gleason, daughter of the late George Lindle and Effie Jane Harper. She was a homemaker and attended Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield. Survivors include her husband, Larry Taylor of Greenfield; five daughters, Brenda Carnes of McKenzie, Debbie Nelson and Kathy Kurdziel, both of Greenfield, Sherry Surgrove of Dallas and Mary Taylor of Chicago; four sons, Larry Taylor Jr. of Tokyo, Paul Johnson of Greenfield, Eddie Johnson of Phoenix and Kenny Johnson of Dresden; two sisters, Elewease Ellis of Paris and Shirley Morris of Greenfield; two brother, L. C. Harper of Paris and George Harper of McKenzie; 26 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, James Harper, Paul Harper, Billy Harper, Raymond Harper and William Harper. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Vernon Methodist Church, Sharon with Bro. Billy Joe Scott officiating. Burial was in Tansil Cemetery with Gardner Funeral Home of Sharon in charge of the arrangements. Scott Avery, Dewayne Avery, Marty Plunk, D. J. Plunk, Michael Sharpe and Monroe Ary served as pallbearers. Sharpe was born April 7, 1932 in Weakley County. He was a United States Army veteran. He was a former employee of the Weakley County Municipal Electric Company and a member of the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Dale Akin of Bradford; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Chad and Angie Sharpe of Sharon, Drew and Lori Sharpe of Milan, Ken Sharpe of Union City and Tommy Sharpe of Martin; two stepsons, Mark Pruiett of Nashville and Shane Pruiett of Wingo, Ky., 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Robinson was born Aug. 25, 1948 in Lansing, Mich., son of the late Lucian D. and Betty Jane Boyd Robinson. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Williams was born June 1, 1925, in Martin, daughter of the late Doug and Rosie Lee Arnold Haynes. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Ivery Williams.
