I know all about the Somers family of Weakley County. Before that, they were in Wilson Co, then earlier Caswell Co., N.C. They went to Caswell Co. from Fairfax Co., Va. There were 3 Somers men in Caaswell who served in the Rev. War 1. George, the father of 2 & 3 Captain John Somers and James Somers. I will be happy to share with other descendants. GRace Hall Upshaw
