Cheryl, Do you think James Lamb and Virginia Ray are both siblings to Joseph Lamb and Martha Ray? James was born in 1840 according to the 1850 census so would have been age 14 when married...possible, but not likely. I need to look and see what age Virginia Ray d/o James Jr. is ...maybe.
