I remember that morning well....Too well! The image of it has haunted my memory since I first saw it! The TV was on and I saw the smoke coming from one Tower, and then another Plane hit the other Tower and I sat down and stared at the screen! I could not believe what I saw. I began to pray for all the people there, and then tears came to my eyes and it all became blurred! Then I became angry...very angry....I wanted to hurt someone! Just to think about the people that were dying at that moment sent a chill through my soul, and it still does. I watched as first one building came down....then the other! A friend and I went to the Lake that day,Or maybe it was the following day. and I noticed that there were no Planes in the sky either! It was strange to not see or hear an airplane anywhere! A lot of folks around here have private aircraft and they could not fly, because of the situation and all Planes were grounded. I did not feel well for days after that! I was sick to my very heart and soul! It was a terrible day and I shall never forget it. Any red blooded American should not forget it! Our country was under attack and 3000 people had been killed! It was the beginning of a troublesome time that will last many years. My flag was at half staff for days after that. It was half staff yesterday and still is.NEVER FORGET THAT DAY!!...Bud Ray
