My grandfather John W Moon ran a Grist Mill on the Obion river, probably in the 1880's. He lived at Palmersville. There were three different mills, a saw mill,cotton gin and the grist mill, all ran by different people. One by a Mr. Palmer and I don't have the name of the other man.Would appreciate any help as to exactly where these mills were. I think that they were located on a three acre plot and may have been ran by one water wheel.
