    1. [TNWEAKLE] Fuller Research
    2. Kerri & Matt Fuller
    3. Hello, I have posted on the TNWEAKLE list before, but I'm looking for a little assistance in some research. My family will be coming from out of state to do some genealogy research at the University of Tennessee- Martin and the Weldon Library, July 27-29. I have some specific goals I'd like to try and accomplish so any information would be greatly appreciated. 1. I'd like to try and break through my brick wall. I am looking for the parents of Joseph A.G. (or possibly, A.C.) Fuller. b. 27 Apr 1817 in TN, d. 13 Jan 1887 in Weakley Co., TN, married Elizabeth L. [Olds?] b. ca 1827 in VA. Joseph A. G. Fuller was censused in Davidson Co., TN in 1850 and 1860, and Weakley Co., TN in 1880. There is slight reason to believe that Joseph's family may have originated in Virginia, but possibly Tennessee as well. 2. Joseph A. G. Fuller was buried in 1887 in the Dent cemetery in Martin, TN. I'd like to try and find this cemetery if possible to take a picture of the headstone. I think it might be located on farm land owned by the Halter Family in 1977 (See: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/DENT/1998-09/0906940274). Can anyone provide information about this Dent Cemetery and contact information for how I might request access to it if it is on private land? (Thanks to Larry Holder and his refurbishing efforts at the Ralston Cemetery. We will be stopping by there to view some of the Fuller graves in that cemetery). 3. I'd like to research any more information about my Fuller relatives (Jospeh's wife, Elizabeth Olds, or one of his son's George Payne Fuller, and George Payne's wife, Martha Lou/Lucinda "Daisy" Wright, for example) from TN. If anyone would be willing to share info about Weakley County Fullers or their kin, I'd appreciate it and maybe I can fill in a few gaps for you too! There is a great discussion started by one of my cousins, Linda Creed Clark. She is the real guru of this information and I thank her for the research and contributions to our family history. It can be found at: http://genforum.genealogy.com/fuller/messages/2323.html Thank you for any advice. My family will be in Martin, TN July 27-29 so any info prior to that date is greatly appreciated. So any recommendations on a good BBQ joint or other places to see or things to do would also be appreciated. Thanks for any and all guidance, Matt Fuller

    1. [TNWEAKLE] George Payne Fuller
    2. Eugene and Rose
    3. Matt, I was looking over the website and noticed your ancestor George Payne Fuller. My Payne family came from Weakley County. Perlemon and Harriett Murrell Payne are the ones I can find documentation for (around 1840). Their son Clinton DeWitt Payne migrated to Missouri after the war, and one of his daughters, Rosie Payne, married a Fuller. I don't know if we are in the same line, but I thought it odd to find a Payne-Fuller name in Weakley County.
