    2. 1902-04-11-THE ST. LOUIS REPUBLIC-Missouri TENNESSEE FARMER LYNCHED. He Had Shot a Deputy Marshal Without Any Cause. REPUBLIC SPECIAL. Fulton, Ky., April 10.-Frank Taylor, Deputy Marshal on the Tennessee side of Fulton, was shot down in cold blood and instantly killed last night at 7 o'clock by Tom Blackard, aged 23 years, a farmer, residing near Dukedom, Tenn. At 10:30 o'clock last night Blackard was taken from the lock-up by a mob and hanged from a bridge, where he was afterwards found dead by officers and citizens. Will Cavender, a saloon man, was accidentally shot in the leg by persons who were attempting to capture Blackard. 1902-04-11-SEMI-WEEKLY INTERIOR JOURNAL- Kentucky Tom Blanchard was hanged by a mob near Dukedom, Tenn. He killed Marshall Taylor at Fulton, Ky.
