    1. Re: [TNWEAKLE] Leslie re: Benj. F. LAMB
    2. Cheryl and Leslie, I am descended from Benjamin Franklin Lamb b. abt. 1844. I have a picture of his 3 children including my Gr grandmother Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Lamb) Cook. Family tradition says there were lots of Benjamin and Benjamin Franklin's in all of the cousin families in the Mayfield area. It does not surprise me that there was an earlier B.F. Lamb in the Henry Co., area just down the road.. -----Original Message----- From: CHERYL HORNE <[email protected]> To: TnWeakle <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, Sep 6, 2010 8:13 am Subject: [TNWEAKLE] Leslie re: Benj. My 3x's gr grandmother was Mary Ray b. about 1807 probably Tennessee according to the following census info. 1850 Census @ 13th Civil District, Henry Co., Tennessee, age 43, born Tennessee. Listed as Elizabeth, under Joseph in the wife position. 1860 Census @ District 13, Cheap Valley Post Office, Henry Co., Tennessee, age 53, born Tennessee. Listed as Mary Lamb, in the wife position in the household of Joseph Lamb. Earliest known child that I have for them is Thomas b. about 1833 Tennessee according to the 1850 Census where he is age 17 and eldest child., so probably married before 1833 but there may have been earlier children that were no longer at home. So they could have been possibly married circa 1825 or there abouts at the earliest. If you know anything about my 3x's gr grandmother I'd appreciate any help you may be able to give. Thanks, Dan Cook <<There will be a family reunion involving the RAY/BELL families of West Tennessee and Ky on Saturday September the 25th at the pavillion in the park in Paris, Tennessee.
