Both are buried at Hatler's Campground Cemetery, Weakley Co.,TN Children: Fred Thomas, Covelia, and Cecil J. I don't know the names of Ike A. I believe the census enumerator identified Albert as their son...perhaps they informally "adopted" him as their own eight children were grown by then...many married with children. Dear List, Would someone please advise how I could get a copy of an obituary for my relative, LELA HALLOWEEN (ROBERTS) GALLIMORE and her husband, HERCHELL L. GALLIMORE who both died in Weakley County. Lela Halloween died on May 24, 1995 in Dresden and Herchell died on March 14, 1963 in Dresden. I have just found an obituary on ancestry.com tonight for one of their daughters, PAULA KAYE GALLIMORE ARNOLD which indicated that she died at 46 years old. The obit states that her two sisters had predeceased her - their names were: Linda Mae Gallimore Spain and Patsy Gallimore Boane - I think that it is very strange that all three ladies died between 45 & 50 years old. The Dresden Enterprise June 7, 1940 Death Ends Long Illness Thursday J. P. OLIVER, 75, died suddenly at his home near Como Thursday of last week. He was well known in this county, and a respected citizen. Funeral services were conducted Friday from West Union by Elds. Lawrence McCLAIN and Cayce PENTECOST, with burial in the church cemetery, with Bowlin & Riggs in charge of arrangements. Surviving are his wife, and the following children: Luther, Lee and John Tatum OLIVER; Mesdames Alma SMITH, Mandy TAYLOR, Maggie BUNTIN and Hazel TRAVIS.
