My ggggrandmother was Sarah Drake who was b. in VA, married Leroy Sammons in AL in the 1840's, was in Maury, Tn in 1850 and in Weakley Co. by 1860. The last I have on her is from the 1880 Weakley census. She is listed as a widow and is living with 2 of her married/widowed daughters and grandchildren and a single daughter, Sarah F. Sammons. The Sammons name is sometimes listed as Simmons. I've tried to connect her to Drake families around Weakley, but not able to. I found a marriage document in Halifax Va and his dob from the marriage bond but cannot find anything else. On my files on World Connect I use the option of including the latest date possible for the site to include living persons. This includes anyone born before 1930. The reasoning behind this is that the 1930 Census is available with this information. To date I have only had one request to remove a name and this was about 4 years ago. Identity theft is a problem in today's world but if someone wants to steal an identity there are many ways to do it. Keep in mind these postings are in essence published online so make your own determination on what to include. Just a note about William Martin FRAZIER mentioned in your post. M. C. PARHAM is Mollie C. PARHAM, daughter of William Wesley PARHAM and Margaret DRAKE. Mollie was born about 1866.
