Why cannot one of the Wayne County folks JUST POST this request? After all; it has been running for several days and all it takes is an administrator to just POST it! My mail box is getting filled with all the requests and I know the administrators can take care of this request VERY SIMPLY......go to the Wayne County Online site and place it inline!!!!!!!!!!!! I am from Wayne County.....can and do contribute to the site....and am tired of all the E-mails asking for all the information!!!! Jack, I apologize for the inconvenience of you and others having to delete the emails you don't want in your inbox. I didn't realize the response that my posting would get. It has been overwhelming to me also. I have received HUNDREDS of emails and have spent over 19 hours trying to keep my word to people who have requested these items. I thought I was just making a nice gesture by sharing these items with serious genealogy researchers. I thought it might add something to their notebooks. My original posting had asked for permission to post but it is a busy time of the year and the administrator either didn't read it or misunderstood it. A couple of years ago I got into trouble by posting to a website (not this website) something such as this without permission from the administrator and rootsweb. I got into big trouble. I do not want that kind of HEAT AGAIN!!!! I will be glad to post these to the website BUT WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE ADMINISTRATOR. I posted this on Friday at 9:44 AM. It may seem like SEVERAL DAYS to you as it does to me. And I guess it is by now since this is Wed. morning. I have found that people DO NOT READ THEIR EMAILS. I have had all kinds of crazy requests which I HAVE ANSWERED INDIVIDUALLY AND EXPLAINED OVER AND OVER! I thought my posting was self explanatory but to many it wasn't. Some thought I had a book. Many thought I had pictures, pictures, pictures. NO, NO, NO!!! People got all 3 mixed up and made strange requests. I have even had people hit "forward" with a blank email and expect me to know what they want. And the list goes on. So I am very frustrated as well that people don't read correctly!!!!! It has been unreal but very enlightening. Sooooooooooo, if an administrator will contact me and give me permission, I will be glad to put them on the website or I give them permission to put them on the website. I hope this solves the problem. I hope you and others NOW understand. I will continue to send these items to people who request them from me. One other quick note, in my original posting I told people to contact me and I would send them directly the items which I have. I didn't think about asking them to contact me directly. You know what they say about hindsight. I had no idea I was going to get such a response. So, Jack, will you forgive me for the inconvenience I have caused you???
