Nena, It is frustrating isn't it. It happens that there is no one from that family that is interested in genealogy, and the ones that might be are not subscribed to this list. I don't have one scrap of material on the Howards, yet I know in later years, in the 20th century, there has been a Howard family that lived in Wayne County in Clifton and in the northeast part of Hardin County. It is still the same today. I think I can do a little research and come up with this family tree, however, still not sure that any of that family is interested. At this minute, the oldest Howard I know was William Howard. His son, W. S. Howard ran a grocery store in Clifton and the three sons of W. S. live in this area today. I also know the Howards are related to the Burrough and Copeland families. I'll see what I can find.
