My Brooks family also went to Izard Co. Don't know if they went with any other families, but maybe the Corbins. My great grandmother Mary Brooks Magee Corbin went there as did most of the Brooks kids. Does anyone know anything about these families?? There are still many Brooks families in Izard County. One of my granddaughters married Bradley Brooks. A friend of mine, Betty Brooks Johnson has done extensive research on the Brooks family, and I do know that her family came from Wayne Co., Tennessee.
