To my Wayne County Historians: I have been enjoying this month's June issue.  Especially the front page with the Meredith couple and their dogs..........what really enjoy about this copy are the fashions, not only the women but the men. The older days like the pre-Civil War and during the Civil War on untill the 1890's, I do love to hear and read stories of the Civil War in Wayne and surrounding counties. They seem to go back to a time that I never knew.........it is very intriging and keeps me going back and forth from the front page to other pages just to check the fashions of an earlier time in the 1860's. On page 33 Bill and Mollie Edwards.....in 1865 and then again comparing them in their older years. Also, the Thomas Luna family were all gussied up for their picture to be taken.   I just wanted you to know that I really and especially loved these articles........now I will go back and check my other Historians and see if I can see in them what I saw in this one.
