The Hardin County Historical Society will meet at 7:00 pm on Thursday the 30th of October in the Welch Room of the Hardin Co. Library. Our speaker will be Dr. Timothy B. Smith, former Historian for the National Park Service at Shiloh, now teaching history at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Dr. Smith will speak about the civilian population who lived in and around the Shiloh battlefield and how they were affected by the battle. We welcome your attendance at our meeting.
