The Johnson Reunion for the descendants of Presley, Samuel, and Joel Johnson will be Friday and Saturday, July 18th and 19th at the J. P. Coleman State Park in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. They are thought to be descendants of Jeffery and Rachel Walker Johnson who died in Wilkes County, North Carolina. Presley and Samuel were born in the 1790's in Wilkes County. Those attending this year will include descendants of Jeffery and Rachel Johnson's son William Johnson, Revolutionary War soldier. Anyone interested in the Johnson family history is certainly invited to attend and bring any information they wish to share.
