    3. Hi Folks I am pretty excited about a new source I found and wanted to share it in case it might be new to some of you as well. The information below is excerpted from a reply from TSLA, regarding a publication they have called ENUMERATION OF MALE INHABITANTS OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE AND UPWARD, CITIZENS OF TENNESSEE, JANUARY 1, 1891 (Reed,1992). Hope this is helpful to you. They found my 2g grandfather who I lost after 1880. .....The 1891 enumeration of male voters gives the name, county of residence, census district (and sometimes the age & race) of individuals registered to vote in Tennessee. No other genealogical information is included in the listing. >... We will need to know the county of residence in order to search for the record. If there is a published index for the county, we can search for the name; if there is no index, we cannot search for a specific record. The microfilmed reels are available for interlibrary loan to your local library. > > Published indexes are available for: Anderson, Benton, Blount, Carroll, Carter, Cheatham, Clay, Cumberland, Dickson, Dyer, Fentress, Gibson, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Henry, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Johnson, Knox, Lake, Lawrence, Lewis, Loudon, Macon, Morgan, Obion, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Shelby, Smith, Stewart, Sullivan, Trousdale, Unicoi, Washington, Wayne, Wayne, Weakley, and Williamson. >
