I have some extracted deed books from Mountain press (I have the 1820-38, 38-50), and there are others that are in those time frames. I think, after I located the deeds I went to the state archives in Nashville area to get the actual copies. It is a bit pricy especially if you are out of state but I found some proof that I could not have found otherwise. I do not know if there are ones at the county level but there might be.
