    3. Well, they may have had a sense or irony. I had never heard of this cemetery being called Little Hope until a few days ago. I have photos of the Little Hope School from this area, I believe from 1905 and maybe 1913. It would be interesting to track down the origin of the name for the community. Maybe they were saying "There is A little hope here." Hopefully that is it.     3. Or maybe there was a larger cemetery named Hope Cemetery and they called this one "little" meaning "smaller" to distinguish between the two???
