    3. I have three William Hays (no "e") in my files, but no wives and little else than dates of b. and d. My Williams were born in either VA or PA in the 1700s, then died in KY and other places. When was your William born and died? Most of my Hays moved from VA>KY>TN>KY>MO in the 1800s. Probably no help, but just a thought. 3. I am trying to help one of his gggranddaughers and do not have the info at hand at this time. William R. Hayes died before the 1890 Census, and they were living in Maury County, they had about 15 children and their list is in my closet. By this time they were just about grown.........William was called "Billy", and Sarah was called "Sallie" she was an Allen born in Wayne county and they moved to Lewis, into Lawrence then Maury. I will get the info and get back to you.........I appreciate your response. Sincerely, Joyce A.
